Faster Stronger

Training for a marathon is not easy. Neither is dropping pounds. So I'm gonna blog about it. And I'll probably complain about a bunch of stuff too.

WIW! I Remembered…

And had success:

  • LW: 260.5
  • TW: 254.5
  • Loss: 6 lbs
  • Total Loss: 17.5

Happily I have lost 11.5 pounds since last Monday (mostly water, I’m assuming). Things are slowing down a bit, as they should, but I’m trying hard not to lose my super focus.

At work we’re doing this corporate initiative project that emphasizes the importance of staying focused on a task and setting major goals and minor ones to help accomplish the major.  I’m having a hard time applying it to my job (as I feel mostly administrative at the moment), but I definitely see where this could go in terms of weight loss.  Will have to mull it over a bit and lay out the plan for you all.

In other news: training.  Running has been…not great.  I haven’t been committed to it.  I’ve completely fallen off the schedule.  Recognizing it is the first step to the solution though.
